It's About Time
Fullllllll week off for vacation. Thank GOODNESS. I was about to collapse and die at work; I don't know what was dragging me down so much. But finally, I got decisive and took a break.
Bad news: My grandfather fell and broke either his wrist or his arm (if I ever get some straight news here) this morning, precipitating much worry on my part for his sake. My mom is with him now, and I'll try to get over there later.
The baby brother (hah) is at school, so it's just Alice and me, plus about 600 Board of Public Works trucks doing something undetermined down at the street.
Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
