Call 1-800-JENNY-20
I'm fat. Did I mention that? FatfatfatfatfatfatFAT.
And I'm sick of it.
There's not much going on here. I think I really, really need a break from work; I'm getting seriously burned out. It's a fight to go to work, make it to lunchtime, go back to work after lunch, and then to stick it out until 5 (and I'm working until 7 tomorrow). Each day drags on longer. If I had any sense, I'd just ask off for a few days of that much-celebrated "me time." I don't want to travel, I don't have any projects to work on: I just need a break. In a bad way.
It's off to the psychiatrist tomorrow. I'd love to kick off one of the meds and hope that at least some weight loss would follow, but if I quit taking it, I know from experience, I'll quit sleeping and start twitching like a tweaker. Seriously, it's that bad.
Okay, this is a cheery post. On a lighter note, whoevertheheck my cellphone provider is (I only leave the thing in the car in case of motor disaster; I never carry it with me or use it otherwise-- I'm a dinosaur) sent a letter saying they're about to stop supporting my phone, which is analog. Apparently, it's all digital from here on out. I've had the phone for 7 or 8 years, and it's actually older than that. All it does is make and receive calls, and that's all I want it to do. Do they even make phones that just do that any more? I don't even know this phone's number. I dread having to pick the new one out. The old one can be a bit shameful if people see it: it's quite large, and you have to extend the antenna all the way to get reception.
Oh, and those new phones that people wear on their ear? Attention, folks: you look like you wandered off the set of Star Trek. Not cool.
Go read Celia Rivenbark's book Stop Dressing Your Six-Year-Old Like A Skank. It's hilarious.
Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
