Philosophy Slam
Still philosophizing after all these years.

This cat is driving me nutso. I've purchased earplugs and put my toilet paper on the top of a cabinet.
Details to follow, perhaps tomorrow. If you hear yowling in the night, it's because I've put him in his carrier and locked him out on the balcony. Hey, the low is only 22 tonight. And even though the wind chill is 16, he should be screened from the elements.
(Note: Don't call ASPCA; I'm not serious about the balcony. But I am serious about the earplugs, the toilet paper, and my extreme annoyance. Recall that I love animals to a ridiculous extent, ever so much more than people, for instance. It takes a lot for things with four legs and fur to make me this peeved.)

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
