Philosophy Slam
Still philosophizing after all these years.

Last night was An Event of Great Importance: the Dwight concert in Charlotte. It was beautiful, needless to say. It featured the debut of 3 new songs and lots of material from This Time and Tomorrow's Sounds Today-- overall, a lot of stuff from Just Lookin' for a Hit and Last Chance for A Thousand Years. Nothing (pardon the pun) from Gone, sadly. He and the Babylonian Cowboys were outfitted in traditional 50s Western wear, though Pete was wearing his usual sleeveless black vest with no shirt.
Needless to say, it was a deeply spiritual experience.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
