I'm plugging away (hah) at my Gerturde Stein reading (Three Lives, plus assorted criticism) and may put my eyes out with a fork. I have to present on this Thursday. Please sacrifice many goats.
I finally got a next-door neighbor, making this complex completely full. I kind of liked having it empty next door, for the quiet, if nothing else. And this lot certainly doesn't need any more cars.
There's nothing exciting in my neck of the woods (shocking, I know). Alice threw up some cat food last night (you wanted to know that so badly, didn't you?), and that would about cover it for earthshattering events. I do have to meet with the vegetarian animal sex professor tomorrow, so that promises trauma (or, hopefully, at least stories to relate).

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
