Philosophy Slam
Still philosophizing after all these years.

My personal jury is still out on how I feel about e-texts (except they're probably inevitable), but, for all your poor students out there (or those who just need to be able to locate something specific in a hurry), check out Project Gutenberg and Blackmask Online in the English section. They're by no means the only available sources, but, as they have all the texts for my Victorian class, they're the two that make it on here.
In the meantime, I just finished my research project and can now get back to Middlemarch, which is beginning to look pretty good by comparison. I've had to do a good deal of scanning, so I don't look forward to today's class (unless the next guy's refreshments somehow manage to surpass the homemade chocolate-chip walnut cookies that we had last week).

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
