Bleh
I don't feel so hot.
I worked from 9:30 today until 7 with no break. Yeah, it's no sweatshop, but I'm tired all the same. The Seroquel dose is way up again, and that really doesn't help the overall Get-up-and-Go feeling. I was talking like a total drunk today, anyway. At one point I announced that I had a stake in my hand from my shelving card. That's a splinter, for those of you not in the know. I did things like that countless times today.
I think that Topomax screws up the talking. That'll settle down, but once you toss something else-- say, a high dose of Seroquel-- into play, things get rough again. Put in some lithium, stir, and let the fun of Trying to Watch Elvisette Talk begin. Talk, or alphabetize. Or remember what someone just said to me. Or retain knowledge for more than 5 seconds.
It's only 8:30, and I'm sleepy enough to crash 'n' burn, but I somehow doubt I should.
We should get naptimes, like in kindergarten (where I never slept). I'd bring my little mat to my office in a heartbeat. Covering up with my coat is fine by me. My 2 or so, I'm ready for a nice little crash every day.
After 5 is when the punchiness kicks in. You feel like you should be accomplishing Wonder Woman amounts of stuff, and yet . . . you're showing your coworkers the new pictures of your cat on your cell phone. And finding everyone and everything hysterically funny.
I get to work the good long hours tomorrow, too. My joy knows no bounds.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
