Take at least a peek at this blog, Beauty Tips for Ministers.

Amen.

And, just because not everyone has a copy on hand, here's a link to the 1928 Book of Common Prayer online. Scan down for the HTML or PDFs of the various sections.

Speaking of matters religious, I threatened to exorcise all the little demons children who came to the liberry for a magician's show yesterday. I brought with me my personal copy of the Roman Rite (thank you, eBay) and a rosary I'm particularly fond of, containing holy water from Lourdes (thank you, antiques / flea market). It must have worked, because, thought they were loud, as large groups of Satan's minions children are wont to be, they did, in fact, behave. The circulation staff is now evaluating the logistics of exorcising the public access computer area (how to target all of the I Am Legions who use the computers????).

In the meantime, defensive action is being taken against the public computers in lieu of a serious flea spray-down by an exterminator. Friends, the liberry has fleas. In droves. I come home with bites every day, flick them off me at work. Alice had a few on her, and I fear that I'm at fault for bringing them home. Do they make Frontline for people?

The fleas come in on the patrons. Yaacck. I want a Haz-Mat suit to work in, but, like my taser proposal, nothing has yet come of this proposition.

Reading: On / Off, by Collen McCullough
Listening: Best of the Flying Burrito Brothers
Current Obsession: Still disgustingly FAT.
Alice:Got a major combing tonight, followed by Frontline. The sweet baby has already forgiven us. Eerily, she looks almost exactly like the cat on the package-- look at a close-up of the picture.
