Still philosophizing after all these years.

Waaaaah.
So, back, alive, from the baby shower. Multitudes of pastels, crepe paper, cake decorated with tiny bottles. Cloth diapers. Yeah. A little traumatic. I felt like a bull in a china shop.
Okay, there was a long pause there as I took some time to pick lint out of my keyboard. Clearly, my day is not generating exciting material for blog discussion.
When in doubt, resort to whining: I have a headache. I have heartburn (why???). I don't want to do my assigned reading. For that matter, I don't want to do my comps reading. For that matter, I don't want to take comps.
Maybe I should just go to bed and curl up with a nice serial killer book.
Reading: serial killer book TBA (finished Deranged, the Albert Fish one, last night. I'm all about quality reading)
Listening: nuthin' (taping Crossing Jordan, so all is silence)
Current Obsession: hoping to avoid nightmares involving diapers.
Alice: was already potty-trained when I found her, unlike infants.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
