The Feeling Is Mutual
The department hates me. Proof positive.
Actually, the department hates Americanists; I found out today that all non-first year students are being booted from the early American lit course this semester.
Oh, no.
Oh, no, you do not.
But they did, sending me into a panic. The long and short is that, instead of taking two courses this semester, as I'm supposed to, I'll probably, most likely, maybe take one this semester and one next. Errrgh. It's like they look for ways to disrupt my life. It takes so little to disrupt me and throw me into a panic, and stuff like this is major. Errrgh again.
My stomach hurts. Wonder why?
Speaking of wonders, I have a famous wunderidiot in my class this semester. I couldn't be more thrilled to pieces.
Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
