Gabba Gabba Hey and Other Linguistic Advances
I'm currently singing "Alice Is A Punk Rocker" to the tune of (of course) "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker." Oddly, she seems to like it (she jumped right up on the desk with me as I sang). Animals tend to run when I sing. That's the measure of her devotion, I assume.
Anyway.
Article #1. I was in NYC when Dee Dee died, and I first saw the news scrolling across the big news marquee. Sigh.
Let's have an affirming gabba gabba hey for Johnny, shall we?
Article #2. Go MLA! Gimme a M! Gimme an L! Gimme an A! What's that spell??? High dues! High dues! Yeaaahhh! Even with the grad student reduced rate!
Okay, Alice seems to like "Danny Says" even without her own name interjected. That's my baby girl: excellent taste!
She doesn't look like a punk rocker, but she certainly has a fetish for all things smokey and beery. Below, she feverishly sniffs my cord blazer, which, at that time, reeked of cigarette smoke (I need fewer chain-smoking friends):
