Let's see.
Prescription drugs cost too much-- especially when insurance won't pay up. Don't get me started.
Engaged in a bit of retail therapy today (intense psychic damage from dealing with pharmacy). It was an interesting experience: the mall was filled with what I assume to be seniors from the university and their parents (well, mothers), shopping away for various clothing items. People watching ahoy. I actually solicited the opinion of one of these mothers in Ann Taylor; I was debating springing for a beautiful trench coat (I had already been in the store, walked around the entire mall debating the issue, and then returned to re-contemplate), and I asked her how it looked. She said it was "adorable" and "smart," and the sales clerks (gee, no bias there, of course) agreed. So I consider the purchase cosmically justified. And it was half-off. And there was only one in my size, and it was a petite. See? Destiny. If there's only one left in your size, the gods have willed that it should be so.
I think the trench goes nicely with my Winona Ryder hair. [I'll avoid making any obvious shoplifting jokes here-- but I do have my receipt] Very urban. I can dream, can't I?
Oh, and I got two pairs of $80 shoes and one pair of $60 shoes for $9.99 a pair. I am the queen of sales, baby.
Peace out.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
