A little more griping:
I was in class for almost six hours today.
I had done very little of the reading.
They dragged by.
No one was talking.
I had to go run urgent errands afterwards.
My tape ran out in the middle of CSI, so I've only got about the first half of it. It was part two of two.
I haven't done any prep, including the reading, for my class tomorrow. I can't do groupwork, because I don't think they'll be able to work through this section on their own.
I have a teaching meeting at 1 PM.
There's a lecture at 2:10 PM.
Then there's a grad association meeting at 4:00.
Yeah, there went my entire freaking Friday. Which needed to be spent grading papers.
Oh, and I don't have heat in my apartment. Therefore, I'm cold. And I'm sleepy. But I must prepare my course.
Ick, ick, ICK.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
