Philosophy Slam
Still philosophizing after all these years.

I have a headache. A pounding, dense, temple-throbbing, sinus-aching headache. My eyeballs hurt. And yet I have sooo much more to do before tomorrow before it's even worth my showing up to class.
I think I reached some new lows in teaching today, too (my teaching motto: "Lowering rock-bottom, One Day at A Time"). Lecture materials included: snippits of the 10 o'clock news, the end of last night's Special Victims Unit, the book Gorbachev! Has the Real Antichrist Come?, The Secret FBI Files of Elvis, and The UFO Cover-Up. Let's just call it creative teaching.
Slowly but surely, the blisters on my feet are healing. They itch madly, though.
And wasn't that informative? And doesn't knowing that my feet itch enrich your daily existence?
I want to sleep for the next ten years, at least. Wake me up when life is better.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
