Philosophy Slam Still philosophizing after all these years.

This is old news now, but I kind of think that I forgot to post Samuri Lapin 3 when it came out [Samuri 1, Samuri 2; all have sound]. I get an insane kick out of those.

And I still think that this is utterly hilarious [sound]. Judging by the expression on Alice's face and the way that she's flattening her ears, I believe that she is Not Amused. Fortunately, she is young, and I can corrupt her.

Thanks to B3TA, If Cats Ruled the World. My personal fav is the "Insubordination Error" on page 3. Also the Egyptian one on page 9.

Okay. That's probably enough random linking for one day. I need to return to the joys of indexing now.

There simply isn't much going on in my oh-so-exciting existence right now. I ran around like a madwoman yesterday, including 3 trips to campus, a trip to the bank, and an excursion to the grocery store (severe soft drink shortage). Because the trips to campus were all on foot, that's time-consuming. Fortunately, a friend and her husband gave me a ride back on the last one, or I think I would have died of heatstroke. The last two trips were both to turn in pieces of my thesis, and I told the grad secretary that, if it wasn't complete now, I'd just drop out of the program rather than make another trip in the heat. Ugh. The heat itself is bad enough, but then you add to it the fact that I have about a 2-mile round trip, along blacktop roads, with cars giving out extra heat. I adore walking, but someone needs to turn the A/C on.
