I would like to announce, with nerdy joy, that I'm currently recording the all-time X-Files classics Kill Switch and Bad Blood. These are definitely going into the permanent collection. I've died and gone to geek heaven.
I'm also making wise use of my internet connection (which, after yet another tech support call, is finally back after being down all afternoon) by downloading South Park episodes. Because what is life without Gnomes? That episode reminds me of a great (and fairly representative, in terms of roommate support) apartmentmate exchange:
Me: [summarizes Gnomes] I loveTweek! He's my idol. You know, they make talking Tweek dolls, and I want one!
The Fox: You ARE a talking Tweek doll.
They respect me. No, really.
I think I've shamed myself enough for one evening now.
