Observed another class today. They were considerably more dynamic than the other one I've observed, and they were somewhat brighter to boot. Well, except for an observation that Holden Caulfield is "cynical." Hmm. You don't say!
After observing the class, I made the following pedagogy-based conclusions:
If you are female, appropriate attire is a sorority t-shirt and [pick one: miniskirt; short shorts; jeans; black pants], with flip-flops.
The chick in front of me had on Lily Pulitzer capris. Another girl was wearing a Prada top. I was wearing, uh, eBay.
While we're on the subject of clothes (or I'm on that subject, anyway. Can't speak for you): none of my spring clothes fit. Ok, practically none. None of my shorts, none of my old skirts. A lot of shirts are also a problem. I can transition some winter skirts to spring, and I've eBay'd some sundress-type things. Tops remain a problem, though, and I don't think me going topless [no, there's no link for that-- perv!] in seminars will go over well.
Did everyone enjoy that little yay-big-corporations cheer? Yes, I know that liking Old Navy and Gap makes me a scuzzy individual. I'm just too crabby to care today.
Back on topic, such as it is: What I really need is a pile of solid-colored semi-dressy tanks and tees. I'll go shopping in all my spare time. With all my spare cash. HAHAHAHAHAHA
Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
