Philosophy Slam
Still philosophizing after all these years.

The WHoB is taking an oath of silence to protest our "democratic" leader's desire to ignore the opinion, of, oh, the entire world and bomb the living daylights out of a small oil-rich country. We here at Philosophy Slam won't manage an oath of silence because silence just isn't something we're good at, but we respect the WHoB for pulling it off.
At any rate. What we will be doing is hanging all of our peace signs up in our window, bumper-stickering our car (Simone), and burning a light in the window as part of the Global Vigil for Peace.
No one asked how we felt about all this. But that doesn't mean we can't tell them anyway.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
