They're now calling for accumulations of 3-5 in. The country schools have officially closed. And yet we're not closed. I don't look forward to trying to make the walk to class, on uneven sidewalks, along a major road. And I don't look forward to walking back at 6:00, when it's dark as well. I'd be surprised if people who have to drive can make it in.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
