My second class is called off. First is going on, but the administrative assistant I talked to said not to worry if I can't make it. Interstates are shutting down around here, roads are a mess, wrecks abound, everything else in creation (schools and retail) has closed down. Yet the university (the majority of whose students do NOT live on campus) remains open.
Keep your fingers crossed for me as I make my way to class. It's a real mess.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
