Philosophy Slam
Still philosophizing after all these years.

A first: I'm watching The Osbournes. It's a bit on the random side. Dialogue: I *beep* the *beep* the *beep beep*. My fill in the blank skills are proving a bit limited. But I didn't think I could possibly do any work between class and supper, so I needed something to do . . . so TV seemed a logical choice.
There was a rolled-up note in my apartment door today (or, in Yoakamspeak, a Note Stuck on My Door) cautioning all dwellers to keep the faucets dripping, the heat on, and undersink cabinet doors open. Oh, joy. I just adore way-subfreezing temperatures; have I mentioned that? Nothing like a little pipe-freezing to keep life exciting.
I'm partially rambling because I'm so depressed about the overall political climate that I can barely concentrate on my studies. Oh, and now they're talking about Iraq on MTV. It's inescapable. And, just on the off-chance no one has said this before, these people are weird. And the boy-- Jack?-- needs to keep his shirt on.
Ok. Time to go engage in Easy-Mac making.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
