Came in early last night at not even quite midnight. Weird-Dude had been giving a first-and-second year party at his place, supposedly. I came with two other people, and we were (fashionably) about 25 or 30 minutes late. When we got there, his roommate (hard to miss because of the magenta hair) was occupying the porch, and Weird-Dude was inside. No one else was there. Korean Student showed up pretty much when we did, so it was just the four of us plus the two of them. Conversation seriously lagged, but that was ok when we were out being mellow on the porch. We packed it up and moved to Bosco's after an hour or so. It was impossibly crowded and loud. JM and I elected to say our good-byes and go back to her place to watch Law and Order, which, we agreed, was pathetic, but preferable to several hours of screamed and strained conversation. I got to meet her cat, and now I'm homesick for my Bradshaw. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
