The guy next door has again provided me with an hour-long beeping alarm serenade. I plan to procure an axe and take the as-the-crow-flies route to his apartment next time it does so.
My eye is twitching. That normally doesn't happen this early in the semester.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
