Earlier today, I got a wrong phone number from a decidedly brisk woman who wanted to speak to Mr. Willis. A teenagerish male just called to enquire: "Is Mr. and Miz Willis there?" The Willis clan is clearly a popular bunch, and their friends apparently have difficulties in dialing (because they never call back again, as if they had been given the wrong number).

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
