Philosophy Slam
Still philosophizing after all these years.

Oooh, Charter finally went two-way cable! We're talking high-speed internet now.
Anyway. Off to Charlotte for an outing today, then heading off to the beach (bleah) next week. I will therefore, sadly, be off e-mail for six to seven long, long, long days. I may go into withdrawl. Or get a blistering sunburn whilst I sulk by the pool. Bleah again.
At least I have a laptop now, so all is not lost. I'm cataloging my book collection with Microsoft Office. There are probably more productive uses of my time, but, frankly, I'm not interested.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
