Philosophy Slam
Still philosophizing after all these years.

So, did everyone enjoy that fun-filled senior picnic yesterday? How about those cold, unsalted hambugers? It was a send-off worthy of our institution if ever there was one. But I now have my cap and gown, which, yes, do feature purple. At least they're mostly black.
The reading is tonight. I'm hoping for good attendance, on the basis of the senior rush, if nothing else. It's only supposed to last about an hour. I hope this woman is a good speaker, because she certainly isn't very dynamic on the phone. After this, there is only the booksale and the final party, and then I'm done with STD.
In the meantime, I must find some shoes and head out, because it's time for philosophy. What new and exciting jokes will the prof have for us today???

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
