I don't want to write papers. I don't want to do research. I don't want to read articles. I don't want to read Kant. I don't want to contemplate diaspora.
I want to eat, drink, and be merry. Play some computer games. Read a novel. Don't write about it. Sleep in. Wander lonely as a cloud.

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
