A philosophy funny, based on the thought of Berkeley, an idealist (matter does not exist, and no idea exists unless it is perceived by a mind):

(that is, even if it's not perceived by a human mind, it's perceived by God's mind, which is the source of all ideas)

Pascal: The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.
